Catalys Hydraulic AW 68
Description
Catalys Hydraulic AW oils are recommended for all fixed and mobile equipment hydraulic systems. They provide excellent protection for any type of pump operating at high speed. They are also used as general lubricating oils in factories. They are offered in four ISO viscosity grades: 22, 32, 46 and 68.
For hydraulic equipment subject to wide temperature variations, we recommend multigrade “HVI” (High Viscosity Index) type oils such as Catalys Hydraulic HVI oils.
Hydraulic AW 22 can be used for machine tool spindles lubrication where a zinc-free oil is not required.
Application
Catalys Hydraulic AW oils exceed the following pump manufacturers standards: PARKER (formerly DENISON) HF0/HF1/HF2 (ISO 32, 46, 68); EATON-Brochure 03-401-2010; FIVES P68 (ISO 32), P69 (ISO 68) and P70 (ISO 46); DIN 51524, Part 2 (ISO 32, 46, 68); General Motors LS-2 (ISO 32, 46, 68); U.S. Steel 126, 127 and 136 (ISO 32, 46, 68), and AFNOR E 48-603 (ISO 32, 46, 68). They are formulated with additives giving them the following characteristics:
• Increased protection against premature wear of high-speed vane pumps, gear pumps as well as axial and radial piston pumps.
• Rapid water separation.
• Anti-rust and anti-foam properties.
• Hydrolytic stability – excellent filtration performance in the presence of water
