Catalys Lubricants Strengthens Its National Brand and Unites Divisions Under a Common Banner
Nemco Becomes Catalys Lubricants, New Brand Identity
MONTREAL, QC, May 1, 2025 – A Canadian leader in the distribution of lubricants and related products for over 35 years, Catalys Lubricants reaches a key milestone in its growth and announces the unification of all its divisions under a single brand: Catalys Lubricants. As of today, all entities, including Nemco Resources Ltd. (Nemco), based in Winnipeg, will adopt the Catalys Lubricants name.
“This unification marks a new era for our family-owned business. Embracing a unified identity will allow us to deliver a smoother and more consistent service experience, while also attracting more national clients. Coming together to grow stronger is even more meaningful in today’s context. We are reaffirming our position as local experts, from coast to coast,” explains Jean-François Crevier, President of Catalys Lubricants.
In 2022, Catalys Lubricants announced the acquisition of Nemco, a manufacturer of lubricants and related products based in the Prairies. Until now, the division had continued to operate under the Nemco name. The announced changes aim to strengthen brand identity without affecting operations.
Catalys Lubricants is also unveiling a refreshed brand image. Subsidiary websites will now redirect to the updated main website, catalyslubricants.ca, which, like the redesigned corporate communications, is built to simplify the user experience and provide a more unified and coherent vision of the company’s expertise as a whole.
The website will also be the launchpad for Ollie, the company’s new mascot and a symbol of its energy and dynamism. This character will now appear across Catalys Lubricants’ various communication platforms.
“Our unmatched expertise and unique approach have set us apart for three generations, and we’re building the future by staying true to our strengths. By enhancing the consistency and recognition of the Catalys Lubricants name, we continue to assert ourselves as a leader in our sector,” concludes Mr. Crevier.
