POSITION DESCRIPTION

TITLE: Production worker

ADMINISTRATIVE SECTOR: Catalys Lubricants 

LOCATION: Winnipeg, Manitoba

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Production worker reports to the Production Supervisor.

JOB SUMMARY

The Production Worker is responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders through completion of production schedule or shipping plan as presented by leadership that ensures on time and in full delivery of those     orders.

FUNCTIONS-RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute production as Schedule

  • Timely and accurate production output

  • Operate/maintain production line equipment

  • Contribute to a safe and clean working environment

  • Adhere and comply with all Health and Safety rules and procedures

  • Support and follow Quality Initiatives and standards

  • Maintain relevant product and process knowledge and required certifications

  • Overtime and shift work as required or scheduled

  • Complete additional indoor/outdoor duties as assigned

  • Other related functions that may be added to the job description as required

Technical skills: 

  • High Attention to Detail and Quality Output

  • Physically Fit (Capable of lifting 50lbs and standing for long periods

  • Role Flexibility and Willingness to Cross Train

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:     High School diploma

Experience:  6 months of relevant experience

Languages:  Fluent in English spoken

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Physical effort: 

  • Standing upright for long hours

  • Ability to lift weights of 50lbs

Environment:   

  • Environment: production

  • Overtime and shift work as required or scheduled
